About the role

Lindayes Patisserie & Coffee is seeking a Kasir / SPG (Cashier / Sales Promotion Girl) to join our dynamic retail team. This is a contract position based in Jakarta Selatan, Jakarta Raya. In this role, you will be the face of our patisserie and coffee shop, delivering exceptional customer service whilst managing point-of-sale operations and promoting our products to create a memorable experience for every visitor. You will play a vital role in driving sales and maintaining the welcoming atmosphere that defines Lindayes Patisserie & Coffee.

What you'll be doing

• Operating the cash register accurately and processing transactions swiftly and professionally

• Greeting customers warmly and providing knowledgeable recommendations about our pastries, coffee and other offerings

• Promoting featured products and seasonal specials to increase sales and customer engagement

• Maintaining a clean and organised checkout area and point-of-sale station

• Handling customer inquiries and complaints with patience and professionalism, resolving issues where possible

• Processing various payment methods including cash, card and digital payments accurately

• Assisting with stock rotation, product displays and merchandising to ensure attractive presentation

• Building positive relationships with regular customers and encouraging repeat visits

• Supporting the wider team with general retail duties as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a cashier, sales assistant or in a customer-facing retail role within the food and beverage or patisserie industry

• Excellent numeracy skills with the ability to handle cash and multiple payment methods accurately

• Strong communication skills in Indonesian and preferably English, with the ability to interact confidently with diverse customers

• A friendly, outgoing personality with genuine enthusiasm for customer service and sales

• Ability to work efficiently during peak hours whilst maintaining attention to detail

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekend work as required

• Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and technology; training will be provided if needed

• A neat appearance and strong personal hygiene standards befitting a food and beverage environment

• Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude towards teamwork
