Junior System Engineer at Corporate IT&IS

• Managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure either on-premises or cloud.
• Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools.
• Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
• Planning, Design and Development an Infrastructure either on- premises or cloud.
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
• Provide 2nd level support
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
• Collaborate with developer team, product owner using agile project management framework.
• Maintain server infrastructure on Data centre.

Kualifikasi

• Knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., DNS, TCP/IP, and
  firewalls)
• Ability to deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available,
  and fault-tolerant systems
• Proven working experience in installing, configuring and
  troubleshooting UNIX /Linux based environments.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware, Proxmox) and
  containerization
• Experience with monitoring systems
• Experience with DNS Server, Mail Server.
• Experience with Backup Solution (VEEAM)
• Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
• Familiar with Azure and AWS technologies.
• Familiar with Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix
• Familiar with Webserver Engine (Apache,Nginx).
• Experience with Data centre Environment is a plus.
