Junior Internal Legal Counsel

About the role

Junior Corporate Lawyer or In-House Counsel role focused on managing legal compliance and regulation, drafting business contracts, and supporting the company in adhering to business regulations for strategic company purposes.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, vendor contracts, and employment terms

• Provide advice to management regarding company rules and internal policies

• Monitor changes in law to ensure the company complies with local and national business regulations

• Identify potential legal risks and provide strategic advice to protect the business

Requirements

• Bachelor of Law (S.H.) minimum

• Valid legal practice license or advocate card (such as PERADI in Indonesia) as per relevant jurisdiction

• Minimum 2 years of experience at a law firm or as in-house counsel at a company

• Strong negotiation skills to resolve disputes and secure favorable contract clauses for the company

• High attention to detail when reviewing complex legal documents

• Clear oral and written communication skills to explain legal concepts to non-legal management

• Up-to-date with technology and AI developments that affect the company's legal position
