Inventory Control Staff

About the role

Inventory Control Staff responsible for ensuring accuracy and alignment of stock between POS systems and physical inventory, managing stock operations, and collaborating across teams to maintain effective inventory control in a modern retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure stock accuracy and alignment between POS system and physical inventory through daily control

• Conduct partial and annual stock opname, and follow up on partial stock opname requests according to procedure

• Coordinate annual stock opname implementation across all storage areas, head office, and branches

• Collaborate with Merchandising, Warehouse, Store, and Finance & Accounting teams on stock control

• Propose improvements and solutions for lost prevention, rejection levels, bad stock, and aging stock issues

• Provide coaching and training on Inventory Control procedures

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly Inventory Control activity reports

About you

• Minimum D3 education; S1 graduates preferred

• Minimum 3 years' experience as Inventory Control Staff in modern retail industry

• Comprehensive understanding of Inventory Control processes, warehouse management systems, supply chain, FIFO, stock opname, and loss prevention

• Understanding of buffer/safety stock is an advantage

• Knowledge of planogram and merchandise display layout with strong analytical skills is an advantage

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Passive English language capability

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Honest, committed, disciplined, loyal, and able to work independently and in teams

• Willing to work overtime, outside regular hours, or on holidays if required
