About the role

The ICT Teacher is responsible for teaching information technology, guiding students to master digital skills, and supporting innovative learning based on IB and National curriculum frameworks. The role involves planning and delivering lessons according to PYP & MYP programs using contemporary educational methods, with focus on Learner Profile, inquiry, attitudes, and trans-disciplinary skills.

Key responsibilities

• Teach according to PYP & MYP programs with contemporary educational methods, focusing on Learner Profile, inquiry, attitudes, and trans-disciplinary skills

• Develop, implement, and evaluate IB Curriculum actively to ensure challenging, relevant, and quality-assured learning

• Manage, plan, and document learning using YPJ Unit Planner and SharePoint

• Use timely formative and summative assessments with targeted feedback to improve student achievement

• Ensure learning is responsive to individual student needs, including cultural and language backgrounds

• Create a safe, caring learning environment that supports students' social-emotional wellbeing

• Facilitate students in developing their potential and achieving personal excellence

• Collaborate with colleagues, leaders, and parents to support learning

• Communicate effectively with students and parents to ensure engagement and learning support

• Participate in collaborative meetings, school activities, supervision schedules, and relief duties

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Education / ICT Education and/or Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Information Systems

• Understanding of IB Curriculum and National Curriculum

• Understanding of Project-Based Learning and STEAM-based learning

• Understanding of coding and computer programming languages or tools, such as Scratch, Python, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Ruby, AI, and related technologies

• Able to communicate and collaborate well in a school environment

• Minimum 1 year of experience

• Teaching experience preferred

• English language proficiency preferred
