HVAC Testing & Commissioning Engineer

About the role

Inspect, test, commission, validate and support acceptance of data-center HVAC systems. Test cooling systems and equipment, analyze results and prepare technical documentation in line with project safety and quality procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inspection, testing, commissioning, validation and acceptance of data-center HVAC systems.

• Assist the Delivery Manager with project plans, work methods, workflows and testing schedules.

• Prepare HVAC testing plans, method statements, checklists and execution procedures.

• Read and check technical drawings, specifications, HVAC system layouts and project documents.

• Test cooling systems and HVAC equipment with suitable instruments; analyze results and resolve HVAC technical issues.

• Ensure testing complies with safety and quality procedures; prepare inspection, testing, evaluation and acceptance reports.

• Support training, skills evaluation and internal knowledge sharing; follow project procedures and documentation systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum D3 in HVAC Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering or a related field.

• At least 2 years of relevant HVAC, construction, installation, maintenance, testing and commissioning, or equipment acceptance experience.

• Understanding of HVAC system architecture, equipment operating principles, installation processes, and testing and commissioning methods.

• Ability to read technical drawings, system layouts, specifications and project documents.

• Ability to use technical drawing software and Microsoft Office and write testing reports and technical documentation.

• Good teamwork, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills; ability to use English at work.

• Hands on experience in Data Center Project is more preferred.
