Head of Store Design

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Electrical/MEP Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Master’s Degree is a plus).

• Minimum 10–15 years of professional experience in design, architecture, or store development managing design projects for F&B restaurants, multi-outlet retail chains.

• Minimum 5 years in a managerial leadership role.

• Proven expertise in managing end-to-end design processes, from initial concept design and development to working drawings and final execution.

• Strong track record in design standardization, multi-outlet rollout concepts, and prototype store development.

• Demonstrated experience in strategic cost control, specifically managing CAPEX and optimizing long-term OPEX through design efficiency.

• Technical mastery in relevant design software and technical tools, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar platforms.

• Solid knowledge of Building & MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) system integrations and technical compliance for F&B operations.

• Strong cross-functional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills to collaborate effectively with Operations, Construction, Procurement, and EHS teams.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving technical site constraints and executing post-launch design improvements.

• Willing to work WFO based in West Jakarta and open to business trips as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Strategy & Standardization: Lead store design concepts, guidelines, and MEP standards to ensure brand consistency, spatial efficiency, and seamless multi-outlet expansion.

• Quality & Technical Review: Oversee architectural drawings and validate construction-ready designs to maintain quality, functional accuracy, and operational readiness.

• Cost Optimization (CAPEX & OPEX): Evaluate design specifications, materials, and value engineering to optimize construction costs without sacrificing design quality.

• Cross-Functional Alignment & Improvement: Align design execution with Operations, Construction, and Procurement teams while driving continuous design improvements post-launch.
