Job Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers in a friendly, professional, and attentive manner.

• Assist customers in selecting gelato flavors, sizes, toppings, and other menu items.

• Prepare and serve gelato according to company standards for portioning, presentation, and product quality.

• Operate gelato equipment, serving tools, and cashier/POS systems properly and safely.

• Process customer payments accurately, including cash, card, QRIS, and other available payment methods.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the serving area, display counter, equipment, utensils, and overall outlet.

• Follow food safety, food handling, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.

• Monitor and replenish gelato, toppings, cones, cups, packaging, and other outlet supplies.

• Support opening and closing activities, including outlet preparation, cleaning, stock checking, and equipment checking.

• Maintain product quality, freshness, presentation, and display standards throughout the shift.

• Promote products, toppings, and ongoing promotions, and perform upselling to support outlet sales targets.

• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.

• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth daily outlet operations.

• Perform other operational duties assigned by the store supervisor or team leader.

Requirements

• Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent.

• Previous experience in an ice cream, gelato, dessert, café, restaurant, or other F&B outlet is preferred.

• Willing to learn and operate gelato equipment and related serving tools.

• Basic understanding of food hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation is preferred.

• Customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Friendly, energetic, responsible, disciplined, and able to work well in a team.

• Willing to handle serving, cashier, cleaning, stock replenishment, and other outlet operational duties.

• Willing to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

• Able to work in a fast-paced retail/F&B environment and stand for extended periods.
