Furniture drafter

About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Furniture Drafter to prepare accurate working drawings for custom furniture production and installation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare working drawings for furniture such as cabinets, wardrobes, kitchens, beds, sofas, tables, and other custom pieces

• Produce plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction drawings

• Specify dimensions, materials, finishes, hardware, and construction details

• Coordinate with designers, production teams, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy

• Revise drawings based on design changes, site measurements, and production requirements

• Maintain organized drawing files and ensure accuracy before production

About you

• Experience as a Furniture Drafter or in a similar role

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or relevant drafting software

• Good understanding of furniture construction, materials, and joinery details

• Strong attention to detail, communication, and time management skills

• Knowledge of SketchUp or other 3D software is an advantage
