Frontend Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Develop dynamic, scalable, and responsive web applications using Alpine.js and Tailwind CSS

• Develop responsive, mobile-friendly websites with a focus on UI/UX best practices

• Identify and resolve client-side rendering issues, maximize page loading speed, and optimize web app bundle sizes

• Integrate APIs and data sources with back-end systems

• Integrate secure client-to-server data communication protocols, including OAuth2, JWT, and session management

• Formulate efficient database queries, manage schemas, and handle data persistence using relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) or non-relational (MongoDB) databases

• Write structured backend code utilizing PHP Laravel

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• 2-4 years of software engineering experience working across the stack, with a portfolio of UI-intensive products

• Good knowledge of programming languages: PHP, HTML, Javascript, CSS

• Knowledge of API integrations

• Experience with frameworks/tools: Alpine.js, Tailwind CSS, YII2, Laravel

• Familiarity with database systems such as Oracle and PostgreSQL

• Experience with code versioning tools (Git)

• Understanding of testing frameworks and QA processes

• Understanding of efficient state management patterns (e.g., Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Context API)

• Understanding of transportation system business processes is a plus
