Forward Deployed Engineer, Indonesia

About the role

Responsible for the technical delivery and implementation of overseas customer projects, covering data processing, environment deployment, product configuration, system integration, UAT support, troubleshooting, project coordination, delivery documentation, and acceptance support. This role requires solid data development capabilities, product implementation skills, project execution ability, and English communication skills. The candidate should be able to drive successful project delivery in cross-time-zone and cross-cultural overseas project environments.

Key responsibilities

• Understand, clean, transform, map, and validate customer data

• Use SQL, scripts, or ETL tools to perform data processing, metric calculation, and data preparation

• Identify and resolve data quality issues, such as missing values, duplicate records, inconsistent formats, field mismatches, and inconsistent metric definitions

• Work with customers and internal teams to confirm data definitions, field mappings, metric logic, and business rules

• Prepare data processing documentation, field mapping documents, data quality issue lists, and validation results

• Deploy, configure, debug, and integrate software products and systems in overseas customer environments

• Work with customer IT teams to confirm implementation conditions, including servers, databases, networks, permissions, security policies, and interfaces

• Support system testing, interface testing, UAT, and go-live preparation

• Track project tasks, issues, risks, and progress, and drive customers and internal teams to complete delivery according to the plan

• Support customer training, go-live support, and post-launch issue follow-up

About you

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Information Management, or a related field

• Proficient in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux and Windows Server operating systems

• Strong expertise in at least one mainstream database, such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server, including installation, SQL querying, backup, and recovery

• Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and firewall configuration

• Familiarity with containerized deployment technologies such as Docker is preferred

• At least 2 years of experience in medical informatization, software product implementation, operations and maintenance, or technical support

• Excellent English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, with the ability to use English as a working language for technical communication, documentation, and customer training

• Fluency in Chinese is a plus
