Finance Unit Head

About the role

Oversee and manage the hospital's financial operations to ensure accurate financial reporting, effective budgeting, proper financial controls, and compliance with applicable policies and regulations. Ensure the accuracy of financial data, monitor financial performance, and support management in making strategic financial decisions to achieve the hospital's operational and financial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, cash flow, and financial reporting

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards

• Monitor budget realization, financial performance, and operational costs to support effective cost control

• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, procedures, and applicable regulations

• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely follow-up on audit findings

• Lead, supervise, and develop the finance team to ensure effective performance and productivity

• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management to support strategic decision-making

About you

• Minimum education: Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• At least 3–5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a hospital or healthcare industry

• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role is preferred

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and cost control

• Familiar with accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial compliance requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial/accounting systems

• Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

• Honest, detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work collaboratively across departments
