Finance & Accounting Supervisor

Samada Work Life is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Supervisor to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing daily finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing accounting processes, and supporting the company's financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily administrative and operational activities of the Finance & Accounting Department.

• Monitor and review financial data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely recording.

• Manage cash flow, budgeting, and company expenditure.

• Supervise and control the administrative activities of bookkeepers and purchasing staff.

• Monitor and evaluate daily departmental activities and staff performance.

• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, cash receipts, General Ledger, payroll, and utilities.

• Oversee treasury activities, cash flow forecasting, and budget monitoring.

• Conduct revenue and expense variance analysis.

• Monitor fixed asset activities and reconciliations.

• Oversee trust account reconciliations and payment processes.

• Prepare and review accounting data, financial reports, and financial statements.

• Develop, improve, and implement accounting systems, procedures, and internal controls.

• Establish and ensure compliance with appropriate accounting methods, policies, and principles.

• Assign projects and provide direction to staff to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of tasks.

• Support the development and establishment of the accounting team as the business grows.

• Collaborate closely with the Finance Management team and other departments to resolve financial matters and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in finance and accounting, including supervisory experience.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial management.

• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.

• High level of integrity and professionalism.

• CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
