Finance/Accounting Staff (Mandarin Speaker)

About the role:

The Finance Accounting Officer will be responsible for managing the company's financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This role supports the company's financial health by handling key accounting functions, from day-to-day transactions to preparing financial reports, while following retail-specific guidelines and regulations.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

• Manage receivable processes, ensuring timely payment of invoices and receipt of outstanding funds

• Reconcile supplier and customer accounts to maintain accurate financial records

• Monitor and manage cash flows to ensure sufficient liquidity for daily operations and prepare cash flow projections based on sales and operational needs

• Provide analysis on financial data to support management's decision-making, track key retail financial metrics like gross profit margin, sales-to-stock ratios, and inventory turnover

• Maintain and improve accounting software and financial reporting systems and implement best practices in financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy

• Work closely with the sales, inventory, and procurement teams to ensure cohesive financial operations and provide financial insights and training to relevant staff members

Requirements :

• Able to communicate in Mandarin (writing and speaking)

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• CPA or equivalent certification is a plus

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance/accounting, preferably in the retail industry

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, retail-specific metrics, and financial regulations

• Proficiency in accounting software (Accurate Online, QuickBooks) and MS Office (especially Excel)

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
