About the role

We are looking for a skilled, responsible, and motivated Engineering Staff member to maintain the restaurant's equipment, facilities, and building systems to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of restaurant equipment, facilities, and operational areas.

• Handle basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repair work.

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns, including kitchen equipment, air conditioning, lighting, and water systems.

• Ensure all restaurant facilities and equipment are safe, clean, and in good working condition.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from the Floor, Bar, and Kitchen departments.

• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize equipment breakdowns and operational disruptions.

• Monitor maintenance tools, spare parts, and equipment inventory.

• Coordinate with external technicians or contractors for repairs requiring specialized expertise.

• Maintain maintenance records and report equipment issues to the management team.

• Follow workplace safety procedures and ensure compliance with restaurant safety standards.

About you

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Engineering, Maintenance, or a related field.

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, and general maintenance.

• Experience maintaining restaurant or hospitality facilities is an advantage.

• Able to troubleshoot problems and perform repairs independently when appropriate.

• Responsible, disciplined, proactive, and detail-oriented.

• Able to work effectively with other departments and as part of a team.

• Willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required.
