About the role

We are opening a position for a Telecommunications Technical Drafter based in Madiun City, East Java. The role involves creating technical drawings, managing geospatial data, and coordinating with field teams to deliver accurate and timely project documentation for telecommunications infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Create shop drawings and As-Built Drawings for telecommunications projects, particularly FTTH, aerial cable networks, underground cable networks, pole placement, ODP, closure, and supporting equipment

• Process field survey results into accurate, neat, and ready-to-use working drawings for the implementation team

• Create network route maps and location data using GIS/Google Earth

• Manage spatial data in the form of KML/KMZ, shapefile, and location point coordinates

• Compile material requirement data, cable length, number of poles, and supporting data for BoQ/RAB

• Perform drawing revisions according to direction from engineer, project manager, owner, or operator

• Prepare technical documents for tender, licensing, implementation, and project handover needs

About you

• Minimum D3/S1 education in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field; SMK graduates in Building Drawing/Electrical Engineering with relevant experience will also be considered

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Technical Drafter, Telecommunications Drafter, FTTH Drafter, or in construction/infrastructure field

• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D; AutoCAD 3D capability is an added value

• Proficient in GIS, particularly QGIS, for route digitization, shapefile/KML/KMZ management, georeferencing, and network map creation

• Experienced in using Google Earth Pro for route determination, distance measurement, location mapping, and location verification

• Understanding of technical drawings, floor plans, profile sections, shop drawings, and As-Built Drawings

• Understanding of FTTH/OSP networks

• Able to operate Microsoft Office well

• Thorough, disciplined, able to work with targets, and willing to coordinate with field teams
