Developer Engineer (Automation - C & Java)

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) to support warehouse robotics and automation, including Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS).

You will focus on developing reliable software solutions using C and Java, integrating warehouse automation equipment with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and ensuring smooth and efficient system operations.

In this role, you will get to:

• Develop, test, and maintain Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) using C and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) using Java.

• Integrate WCS with warehouse automation equipment, robotics, and Java-based WMS.

• Perform system troubleshooting, debugging, and maintenance to ensure operational reliability.

• Identify and implement improvements to enhance system performance and stability.

• Collaborate with technical and operational teams to support warehouse automation projects.

What You Will Need to Succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of software development experience using C, preferably in control systems, embedded systems, microcontrollers, or PLC integration.

• Hands-on experience in Java development is required.

• Experience with Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) or warehouse automation is an advantage but not mandatory.

• Candidates with experience in embedded systems or industrial automation who are interested in developing WCS expertise are encouraged to apply.

• Knowledge of Blue Yonder is an advantage.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Willing to work initially at PT Eigerindo MPI Head Office, Bandung, and relocate to Kalijati, Subang within 2–3 years.
