Chief Engineering

Responsibilities:

•⁠ ⁠Lead and manage the Engineering Department to ensure efficient daily operations, preventive maintenance, and emergency responsiveness for all systems and facilities.

•⁠ ⁠Oversee annual budgeting, monitor POMEC costs, and control expenses related to maintenance, utilities, and projects while ensuring cost efficiency.

•⁠ ⁠Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and supervise both internal and external repair work across the property.

•⁠ ⁠Ensure compliance with safety, fire protection, and environmental regulations, including training team members on related procedures.

•⁠ ⁠Monitor and reduce energy and water consumption annually through operational initiatives and equipment optimization.

Requirements:

•⁠ ⁠Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field

•⁠ ⁠2 years of experience as Chief Engineering in a 4-star hotel, Independent Event Space or equivalent role in a large property.

•⁠ ⁠Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to drive performance and oversee large-scale engineering operations.

•⁠ ⁠Technical expertise in handling electrical, mechanical systems, and proficiency in using testing and measurement instruments.

•⁠ ⁠Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with solid communication abilities to engage with internal teams and external vendors.
