Chief Engineering

About the role

Responsible for the management, maintenance, supervision, and smooth operation of all hotel facilities, utility systems, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure they remain in safe condition, function optimally, operate efficiently, and meet hotel operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Engineering operations and ensure all hotel facilities, equipment, and utility systems operate properly and safely

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, including electrical, AC/HVAC, plumbing, genset, pumps, fire protection, and other hotel facilities

• Lead and supervise the Engineering team, including task allocation, work monitoring, discipline, and team competency development

• Control costs and energy usage, including electricity, water, spare parts, and ensure Engineering operational efficiency

• Coordinate with other departments, vendors, and management in handling damage, projects, renovations, and technical needs of the hotel
