Asst Production Engineer

About the role

A Production Engineer role focused on analyzing and optimizing production processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and capacity within a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and capacity

• Monitor production performance, including cycle time, line balancing, output, and process stability

• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues while providing technical support to production teams

• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process standards

• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, 5S/6S, and OEE improvement

• Monitor production KPIs and prepare technical reports and improvement proposals

• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and company regulations

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Production Engineer or in a manufacturing environment

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, process optimization, and capacity planning

• Familiar with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, OEE, and quality improvement tools (7 QC Tools, 5 Why, FMEA, SPC)

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP/MES systems

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
