Assistant Food and Beverage Director

About the role

ETTA THE PLACE is looking for an experienced and hands-on Assistant Food and Beverage Director to oversee daily operations across our outlets, support the Food and Beverage Director, and ensure exceptional service, team performance, and operational consistency.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily F&B operations across multiple outlets, ensuring smooth service and high standards.

• Lead and support outlet managers, supervisors, and service teams.

• Manage staff scheduling, labour costs, inventory, ordering, and stock control.

• Maintain service standards, food safety, cleanliness, and operational SOPs.

• Handle guest complaints, VIP relations, and service recovery.

• Coordinate events, banquets, and cross-department operations.

• Train and develop team members while monitoring performance.

• Prepare operational reports and act on behalf of the F&B Director when required.

About you

• 6–8+ years of F&B experience, including 2–3+ years in a management role.

• Experience managing multiple outlets or leading operations in a premium restaurant, bar, or hotel.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Good understanding of labour planning, inventory, cost control, and P&L.

• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails, and premium service standards.

• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
