About Maison Bali Interiors

Maison Bali Interiors is an architecture, interior design and villa development studio based in Canggu, Bali. We design and deliver premium villas and hospitality spaces for an international clientele. From concept and 3D visualisation to construction drawings and site follow-up. Our team is small, fast-moving and design-driven, and we are growing our technical drafting capacity.

The role

We are looking for an Architectural Drafter with solid Revit experience to turn our concepts into precise, buildable drawing sets. You will work directly with our lead architect and interior designers, and your drawings will go straight to contractors on site. This is a hybrid position: part of the week in our Canggu studio for coordination, the rest remote.

Our hiring process is simple and transparent: we start with a paid freelance trial project so we can see how you work with the team and how you handle a real Maison Bali drawing package. If it's a match on both sides, we move to a full-time position.

What you will do

• Produce architectural and interior working drawings in Revit: plans, sections, elevations, ceiling plans, details and schedules

• Build and maintain clean, well-structured Revit models and families following our studio standards

• Develop interior detail drawings: joinery, built-in furniture, wall finishes, bathrooms and kitchens

• Coordinate with structural and MEP consultants and integrate their inputs into the model

• Update drawings during construction (revisions, as-built) and answer contractor queries with the site team

• Support the design team with quick 3D exports, area calculations and material take-offs

• Keep drawing sets, sheet lists and file naming organised on our shared drive

What we are looking for (must-have)

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience as an architectural or interior drafter

• Proven, hands-on Revit experience on real projects. This is a REQUIREMENT, not a nice-to-have

• A portfolio showing your projects, and specifically your most recent drawings (working drawings, details, sheets you produced yourself)

• Good understanding of construction: how things are built, standard dimensions, materials and detailing

• Based in Bali (or relocating) and able to come to our Canggu studio on agreed days

• Working English (our team and clients are international); Bahasa Indonesia

• Organised, precise, and comfortable working with deadlines and feedback rounds

Nice to have

• Experience on villas, hospitality or high-end residential projects in Indonesia

• AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape/Lumion/Twinmotion or D5 for quick visuals

• Familiarity with tropical/Balinese construction methods (timber, alang-alang, natural stone, joglo structures)

• Knowledge of local permit documentation (PBG)
