Air Freight Operation

Main responsibilities include, but are not limited, to:

• Handle and coordinate daily air import and export shipments, ensuring timely delivery and documentation.

• Prepare and review shipping documents such as Air Waybills (AWB), invoices, packing lists, and export/import permits.

• Liaise with airlines, customs, ground handling agents, and other service providers to ensure efficient cargo movement.

• Monitor shipments and provide status updates to customers and internal teams.

• Ensure compliance with air cargo regulations, customs requirements, and company SOPs.

• Support customs clearance by ensuring all required documents are complete and accurate.

• Enter data into the company’s freight management system and maintain accurate shipment records.

• Work closely with internal departments including Customer Service, Sales, and Finance.

• Assist in preparing cost calculations and billing for each air freight transaction.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in air freight operations (mandatory).

• Proven experience in a freight forwarding or logistics company.

• Familiar with air cargo procedures, shipping documentation, and customs processes.

• Basic understanding of INCOTERMS, IATA rules, and export-import regulations.

• Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English (spoken and written).

• Able to work independently and under pressure.
