Accountant (Australia Experience)

About the role

Business Services Accountant for Australian Company. You will prepare financial statements and tax returns for a diverse portfolio of Australian clients, including individuals, trusts, companies, and partnerships, while ensuring compliance with Australian tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and tax returns for a diverse portfolio of Australian clients, including individuals, trusts, companies, and partnerships

• Ensure compliance with Australian tax regulations

• Conduct account reconciliations, ledger maintenance, and financial analysis to support client decision-making

• Collaborate closely with the firm's leadership team to provide a wide range of business advisory services

• Maintain clear and effective communication across all levels of the team and with Australian clients

• Perform ad-hoc accounting and advisory duties as required

About you

• Bachelor's degree from reputable universities (local and international) with a minimum GPA of 3.30 in Taxation/Accounting

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting, preferably in business services or taxation

• Australian/International qualification & experience is mandatory

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and Australian tax laws

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral

• Proficient in MS Office, Xero, MYOB, HandiSoft, and other accounting software

• Hardworking, enthusiastic, and self-motivated with a proactive approach

• Client-focused with a flexible attitude and problem-solving mindset

• Strong commitment to teamwork and professional integrity

• Organised with keen attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
